Elections Are Not Environmental Friendly
It's true... Elections are not environmental friendly events at all. In fact, they cause even more rubbish for the society. Just look at all the buntings and banners laid from pole to pole!

It never fails to happen. Come election time, you'll see tonnes and tonnes of pamphlets, buntings, posters, stickers and what-nots all over the city. The candidates will go around shaking your hands and handing out pamphlets of their biodata (or some other info to convince you to vote for them).

Along the main roads and highways, you'll drive pass strings and strings of printed materials, hanging from one pole to another, flapping in the gusty winds. Some are probably lying on the ground now...

What a mess! Utter mess! And after the elections are over, who's gonna clean all the mess up?!? All those printed materials are probably gonna be left lying on the grounds...! X( And to think most of such election materials are printed using tax payers' money...

Have you seen some of the election ads lately? Of course you'll only see such ads coming from the leading party lar, they're the ones with the money (ahem... tax payers' money) to spend. Talk about having a fair election, hor hor? Nothing's fair in this world unfortunately...

March 8th... Are you ready?
